I have finally decided to come up with an award for the biggest Dumbass of the month. This has been a long time coming and it is fitting that Florida Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson is the first recipient of the Armchair-Politics DUH Award.
I have just two questions…and I am deadly serious.

When he heard the Nobel Peace Prize shocker on Friday, Bill Clinton went into one of his purple rages. He picked up the phone and dialed the one person on earth who would be as steamed as he was.
“CLINTON: Hey, man, it’s me. This thing is plumb crazy. Can you believe it?
W: No way, Jose!
CLINTON: First that prig Carter. Then that prig Gore. And now President Paris Hilton. The guy’s in office three days and he gets the peace prize? He should have gotten the Nobel in chemistry, because chemistry’s all he’s got. Talk about a fairy tale. This … is … just … wrong! It’s killing me, man. I feel like my head’s explodin’. First I had the vast right-wing conspiracy, and now I have the vast left-wing conspiracy.
W.: I hear ya, 42. As if his head wasn’t big enough. This cat is all cage, no bird. He doesn’t have a clue.
CLINTON: Heck no.
W.: See, I’m the one who should be mad. Let me tell you, this Norwegia thing has nothing to do with him. It’s just another way for the pinkos of the world to drop a cow patty on my legacy. All that garbage in the prize statement about how special La Bamba is for bringing back wimpy multilateral diplomacy, dialogue and negotiations, the kind my dad and Scowcroft loved. Those Nobel ninnies are so lulu left they make the U.N. look like a Fox jamboree. The rookie already got rewarded once for not being me when he got elected. Gosh, what would he do without me?
CLINTON: Fine, but you never expected to win this prize. You were the quote-unquote war president and proud of it. I had to put up with a gazillion hours of Arafat’s insanity, but I guess that still wasn’t enough for those Oslo ice queens. I guess ending ethnic cleansing in Bosnia wasn’t enough, or bringing peace to Northern Ireland. And I guess my work with the Clinton Global Initiative saving lives in Africa and hanging with Bono and Barbra wasn’t enough.
W.: Calm down, bro. You gotta take care of that ticker.
CLINTON: It was a case of premature adulation.
W.: Heh-heh-heh. Yeah, very pre-emptive, sort of like Cheney’s pre-emptive war policy.
CLINTON: If they weren’t going to give it to me, they should at least have given it to the Chinese human rights movement or the Iranian protesters or AIDS workers in the Congo. Or even Bono.
W.: Yeah, man. Bono.
CLINTON: That would have helped make life better for the good guys and harder for the bad guys. Once again, action loses out to talk, just like with Hillary and Obama in the campaign. Nobel Prize for blah-blah-blah. Heck, I used to be considered a pretty good talker myself.
W.: It’s aggravating, I agree. But look at it this way, 42. Everybody’s laughing at La Bamba. He gets a Nobel for nada. Being loved by Europeans isn’t gonna do him any good here in the U.S. of A. I whupped that Frenchy Kerry, didn’t I?
CLINTON: The only peace Obama has made is bringing together the Taliban, Rush Limbaugh, the Palestinians and the Israelis to agree the guy is undeserving. It just confirms everyone’s suspicion that all this dude knows how to do is dazzle.
W.: He doesn’t want to be a Decider. He wants to be a Transformer. He transformed, all right — from Miss America to Miss Universe. He’s a five-spiral crash, and getting the gold is just a reminder of all he hasn’t done. He’s going to have to look over and see that big medallion hanging up there in the Oval, mocking him as an empty suit, a pretty boy beloved by the Blame-America-First crowd, whenever he has to send more troops to Afghanistan, or the Taliban act up, or Iran fires up for nukes.
CLINTON: Maybe you’re right, George. Some winners think the Nobel’s the kiss of death. Any peace prize that goes to Henry Kissinger but not Gandhi ain’t worth a can of Alpo. Heck, if Gandhi had known he was going to lose out to Henry the K, he could have had more time to eat french fries and chase girls.
W.: And finish getting dressed. Heh-heh-heh.
CLINTON: Barack’s going to give that $1.4 million away to charity. I got a charity. How ’bout he just signs it over to me? Speaking of money, we need to do another of those joint lecture things.
W.: I’m fairly footloose. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Go choke on a herring, Norwegia!”
Obama was surrounded by nearly 150 hand-picked doctors for a photo opportunity on the White House steps this last Tuesday. Many of these “grass-roots” supporters of the President’s healthcare plan, were provided with white lab-coats to secure the impact of the photograph. The idea of white jackets being provided at a Democratic (socialist crazy-people) event, gave me the idea for a little photo manipulation. I spent a few minutes in photoshop and modified the outcome of the picture to reflect reality as I see it.
Short time “Special Advisor to the President” Van Jones has resigned his “Post” with the WhiteHouse due to his desire to “No longer be a distraction”. It is interesting to me that this unconstitutional post was ever filled by anyone, let alone a Radical Communist Racist who has a quite literal laundry-list of personal and professional opinions and affiliations that should have instantly guaranteed his preclusion from any post within the government of the United States of America.
After weeks of relentless coverage by only the conservative media, it became apparent to Mr. Jones that “the bus was coming” and rather than joining several other former Obama supporters under the figuritive oncoming carreer killer, he decided to jump ship while it was still relatively close to the shore.
One must wonder, however, if this “resignation” is, in fact, an actual departure from his position as an advisor to the President or if it is yet more smoke being wafted in front of the liberal mirrors. If Mr. Jones is allowed anywhere near the President of the United States, be it physical access to the White House or secure telephone calls, or even through a third party, then his influence has changed in title only…much like like many other terms and titles attached to the Obama White House, as well as previous administrations: Socialist Redistribution of Wealth was called “Economic Stimulous”; Global Warming is now “Climate change”; CZARS are now “Special Advisors to the President”; Healthcare Reform (Obamacare), has become “Health INSURANCE Reform” and may be renamed “Kennedycare”.
The Obama administration has made an art of label-modification. Sadly, it would not be done if it was not largely effective. It is effective because, all too often, the people do not challenge the disinformation and begin to believe the deception after it is repeated frequently enough.
If you take a can of poison and tape a blank label over the skull and cross-bones…then you write the words “Apple Juice” on your new label…Has the contents of that bottle somehow become any safer to drink because you changed the name on the label?.
There are more than thirty other unelected CZARS reporting directly…and only to the President. These people are being used specifically to bypass our representation in government. It is clear that these people were dealt with in one of two ways: They were either NOT vetted at all and still appointed based upon their potential idealogical contributions to the Obama Administration’s agenda…OR…they WERE vetted and appointed despite the findings, based upon their potential idealogical contributions to the Obama Administration’s agenda.
Below are questions taken directly from the Obama-Biden Administration Employment Questionnaire. Any one of these questions has the ability to preclude an individual from a post with the United States Government. These question were selected by me as those that, I believe, should have led to information that the FBI or at the very least, the Obama White House to re-think the appointments of MANY of the currently posted CZARS. A new friend sent me the link to this video and I knew immediately that it needed to be posted. This video could be viewed before or after the Ronald Reagen speech from roughly the same time-frame. Not only is it entertaining, but it is also absolutely relevant.
I recently received a comment to one of my posts. The post was largely an audio-only version of a speech given by Ronald Reagan nearly 50 years ago about socialism and government control. The intellectual giant making the comment must have spent hours, if not days researching his response and likely went through several drafts, honing this fine-tuned piece of interrogatory master-work, before tapping his “return” key and submitting his question for my own response.

Sorry…..enough silliness. I was a little irritated at this guy. I thought his question was a little ignorant, based on the fact that I hadn’t really written much in the post and that it was mostly a speech he had to listen to. Then again, maybe he didn’t even listen to it. Just seeing Reagan’s picture in the post could have been enough to send a liberal over the edge. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that there are a lot of liberals out there who feel the same way. Then I got a little pissed. So I answered his question. My answer is below.

Well, let’s take a look.
Am I nuts to see that the speech given by a patriot 48 years ago could be given again today and be completely relevant.
Am I nuts to want my children to grow up as FREE citizens, in a country that values and respects individual rights as carefully designed by our framers and founders.
Am I nuts to want the ability to protect myself, my family and even my neighbor from someone who intends to do me harm.I mean it’s only a specifically enumerated natural right, given by God and guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States.
Am I nuts to want my children to have the FREEDOM to succeed or fail in their lives, based upon the amount of hard work and dedication THEY CHOOSE to exercise in their lives.
Am I nuts to want the FREEDOM to exchange an honest days work for an honest days pay and not be forced to give an unnecessarily large chunk of it to the government so it can be “given” to someone else that refuses to work as hard as I do…..or doesn’t work at all.
Am I just plain crazy!Am I just nuts to want my children to be able to vote for a “representative” and then have that representative actually REPRESENT them.
Wacko…That’s what I must be…because when the government pushes a thousand page legislative bill down my throat…I want them to read it and know what they are voting on.
Accountability…I must be NUTS because I want my government to be accountable for their actions…accountable, if not to me…..at least to someone.
I am completely off my rocker to want the continued ability to SPEAK FREELY…To assemble and protest…To walk into a library and SELECT a book from the shelf that I want to read…not a book that has been “authorized” by the government.
Nuts?…to want my time spent serving in the US Military to be honored by the continued FREEDOM of the American people?

I cannot believe that our “Goverment” is considering, yet another, bypass of the will of the people. Where has true representation gone? Does ANYONE believe in…or care about the Constitution any more?
I listen to people ask questions at the “Town-Hall meetings” about health care reform….about the private option…about medicare and medicaid. Where are the real questions about freedom? Why are we not demanding honest answers, as to why our elected “Representatives” are not going absolutely crazy over suggestions of socializing ANYTHING? We ARE NOT, and never been, nor were we founded as…a Socialist Nation. We are a Representative Republic without representation. Reconcilliatin, along with being a bad idea, was invented as a partisan tool to decide a budget issue and NOT to force the creation world’s largest entitlement program, against the will of the people.
It seems as if every twelve minutes, a new czar is APPOINTED by our President. These czars are responsible ONLY to the President and effectively ELIMINATE our representaion in Congress, as well as the Constitutionally designed system of Checks and Balances which was very intentionally placed as a cornerstone of the system by which our freedom is supported. This “Health Care Reform” farce is just another lie that we are being fed as part of an attempt to manipulate and eventually control “Us the people”.

A Wall Street Journal report says that Senate Democrats plan to shut out public input by splitting the Health Care Bill. Through a parliamentary procedure called “reconciliation”, certain budgetary items could be passed with only a minimum of 51 votes. Other measures would require the filibuster proof majority of 60 votes. Another case of we know better than you so the senate splits the bill just to pass it.

2. to win over to friendliness; to cause to become amicable: to reconcile hostile persons.
It’s no secret that the current recess period for democrats has been a nightmare; President Obama never counted on the public knowing as much as they know and democrats didn’t expect the push back that they have encountered concerning the healthcare bill. Blue Dog democrats have met with particularly harsh resistance in their respective districts and republicans are not on board at all. This is what is prompting a split bill strategy when it comes to healthcare. From the WSJ article:
In recent days, Democratic leaders have concluded they can pack more of their health overhaul plans under this procedure, congressional aides said. They might even be able to include a public insurance plan to compete with private insurers, a key demand of the party’s liberal wing, but that remains uncertain.
What seems clear is that the White House and the democratic leadership don’t care one bit about the public outcry against healthcare reform in its current state. Seeing the outcry against it from constituents all over the country, the senate splits the healthcare bill instead of killing it altogether. Democrats are planning to shut out public input.
The democrats, known for such shenanigans, plan to use a parliamentary maneuver known as “reconciliation”, just to be able to pass a split healthcare bill. Under this procedure, only 51 votes are needed. Under this split healthcare bill, with 51 votes, the democrats could conceivably pass expansion of Medicaid as well as increase taxes to pay for items passed.
One positive in a split healthcare bill, 60 votes would be required to pass some of the more draconian measures such as forcing Americans to have insurance or pay a fine and capping out of pocket expenses.
Although the White House and the democratic leadership continue to blame the GOP, the fact that they are leaning towards a split bill under “reconciliation” tells me that they have a lot of democrats who have wandered off the reservation. Blue Dogs or not.
When I listened to this recording, I was shocked and saddened. Six years before I was even born, the left was attempting to implement “Healthcare Reform” just as our government is attempting to force-feed us now…But how is the world different this time around? Are today’s Americans jaded, indifferent, lazy? Are we ignorant…or are we just so exhausted from the daily attack on our senses, that our sensibilities have suffered a numbing loss of function?

Mr. Reagan gives a speech that could…and perhaps should be given today, at every “Town Hall” meeting organized by our “Representatives”.
